Cheerleading..

Isabella is cheerleading with the East Union Lancers and they had their first practice yesterday. It was so cute. Isabella was trying to do everything that the big cheerleaders were doing. I captured a few pictures of it.

She will be cheering during the second quarter of the East Union football game on Friday night. Then they will be dancing during a half time show. Too fun!

I am also taking pictures of everything to help them out to earn more money. Hopefully that will be successful too.

FHE

I just love doing family home evening as a big family. Last night we got together with Ryan, Danicia, Mike, Deidra, Vola, Les, Brach, Dacia, Dylan, and Brittany and had FHE at Danicia and Deidra's new house they are renting. It was so much fun! We had yummy Carnitas tacos and then dessert and then we had a lesson on honesty for Isabella and Dylan too, I think. Then we went in the backyard and had a bonfire and had S Mores. What a perfect way to spend your Sunday!

Her teachers...

Well, 5 of her 6 teachers were on the field trip and Isabella had to take a picture with all of her teachers! The only teacher that wasn't there was Miss Danielle(yellow room teacher).

Her teachers are: (pictured top to bottom)
**Miss Mary (yellow room teacher, another favorite)
**Miss Elena (she is from Russia and has the coolest accent, Isabella's favorite, yellow room)
**Miss Margaret (yellow room teacher)
**Miss Kristen (blue room teacher, Friday's)
**Miss Colleen (blue room teacher, Friday's)

Her first..

Isabella's been having a lot of firsts lately. I know I have a ton of pictures but it was really hard for me to choose only a few since she did so much! =)

Isabella had her first field trip on Wednesday. Her pre-school class went to the pumpkin patch. They started out the day with a lesson on how things grow. They actually got to plant a seed in dirt and got to take it so that they can grow their own peas. Then all the parents and children loaded onto the tractor and went for a ride through the walnut orchard. She stopped the hay ride right in the middle of the orchard and explained to the kids how the walnuts are harvested and the different stages they go through. Isabella was so excited when I told her that it was just like what papa does with his trees. Then we went and picked up five walnuts from the ground and they put them all in a bag for class. After that they had a lesson on how pumpkins grow and they even showed them the stages a pumpkin goes through. Then they were able to pick their very own pumpkin and take it home. Mommies got to pick a pumpkin too. Then it was play time. Isabella was so excited to check everything out. First, she jumped into a huge pool of Lima Beans. (They said that their was 2 tons of them.) Then she ran through the hay maze. Lastly, she played on the tractors and took pictures on the painted boards. After playtime they had snack time and then the field trip was over. It was such a fun field trip! Isabella had a blast!!

And as for me, it was really fun! I enjoyed spending time with JUST Isabella, thank you Vola! I also enjoyed watching Isabella have fun and she loved it. It was fun to finally be a mom on a field trip rather than a teacher. It was much more enjoyable. I only had to watch one kid instead of 32.

Some more pictures...

Here are some more pictures from my 30th surprise party that Heather threw me! =)

Thoroughly Thankful...

My friend Terri sells Stampin' Up and she had a class last night at her house. We did 4 different projects with the "Thoroughly Thankful" stamp set. We made 2 cards, one of them is above, 1 goody bag, and one mini box. Everything was so cute and she is so creative! My sister-in-law, Dacia, came with me. That made it even better! I don't get to spend much time with Dacia and I am glad that we have this time to spend together. She is such a fun person. I'm excited because she decided to join stamp club and that means that I'll see her at least once per month!

WHAT???!!!!

That is exactly what I said when Doug said he found a gray hair. I didn't believe him so I had him pull it out and sure enough it was as gray as day and to top it off......he found 4 more hairs. This is the first evidence I have ever had of a gray hair. I turn 30 and officially became old today! Thanks a lot Doug! =)

Our pretty princess and lil stinker!

I had a photo shoot at my house today so I decided to put my kidos in their Halloween costumes and take a few pictures. Isabella loved it! She was so excited to put her costume on and take some pictures for me. Now Chase on the other hand, was truly a Lil Stinker! The moment he saw me grab his costume he RAN down the hall and I had to catch him. It was a fighting match with a lot of screaming and crying but I got the costume on him and then bribed him with candy. My philosophy at his age is: You get what you get! They turned out pretty good considering. He is the cutest little skunk that I've ever seen! =)

Misty Brandow font! =)

I wrote the above with my very own Misty Brandow font. I have always wanted to have my very own font and here it is! I love it!! I even got it done for free. I almost paid someone $40 to do it and now I am glad that I waited! =)

More pictures...

We'll I took some more picture of the kids yesterday at Woodward Park in Fresno. I also took Landen's 2nd year pictures. We had a lot of fun and that park is beautiful. Wish I had it here in Stockton to take pictures at. My favorite is above. It isn't very often that I get cute pictures of my children together. I LOVE IT! Great experience...

I had the opportunity to take pictures of my mother-in-law with her three brothers today. It was a lot of fun! One of her brothers, Ray, is really sick right now and she has been wanting to get these pictures done for a while now. I've never really had the opportunity to talk to Ray but he is definitely a fun person and has a great personality.

It was really hard seeing him though because he reminded me of my Daddy. I watched him as he had trouble breathing a couple of times and it brought back so many memories of what my Daddy went through.

Here are a few pictures of this evening.

Weekend in Monterey with Wendy...

My weekend in Monterey with Wendy was a blast!! We got there Friday night at about 7:00 and went and had dinner on Cannery Row. It was really good. Then we went to a movie at 10:15. Too much fun! Then we went back to the condo and sat in front of a fire and listened to the waves while we drank our hot chocolate. On Saturday we went to our day at the spa for our facials and massages. They were so nice. This was my first facial ever and I loved it! Then we went to Chevy's and had lunch and then went shopping at the Gilroy outlets which were awesome! I bought my first pair of jeans in about 6 years at the Gap Outlet. I am so excited to have found a pair of jeans that I liked! I have been looking so long. Then we went back to Monterey and went to a movie at 9:50. Gotta love the late movies. Sunday we woke up and went to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and then we drove home. The weekend was so relaxing and fun! It was really hard to leave because the weather was so perfect! Thanks so much Wendy and Danny! =)

It's official...

I am offiicially 30, as of yesterday. This birthday has been really hard for me but a wise friend said, "There is nothing we can do about it." Very true! Danny could even tell that it was bothering me. Didn't think it was that obvious. So, I'm going to just move on and realize that I am still young at heart! =)I honestly had the best birthday ever! It started last Saturday with a surprise party that my best friend Heather planned. I had lots of my really good friends there. We did a photo scavenger hunt....had lunch at El Jardin...and scrapbooked. (Heather, Dar, and I scrapbooked until 3:00am) It was SO SO SO much fun! Thanks so much Heather!! =)

Then on my actual birthday, yesterday, my mom watched the kids and Danny and I went to Chevy's for lunch and then went and saw Rush Hour 3. It was a really good movie! I had lots of fun hanging out with just Danny. We need to do this more often.

Then Danny gave me my birthday present. I opened up a card and inside was a gift certificate for 2 hours at a day spa. I'm going to get an hour massage and an hour facial. I am so excited because I have never had a facial before. But, to top it off...I'm getting them in Monterey. Wendy and I are going to Monterey and staying in her mother's condo on the beach for the ENTIRE weekend. I am so excited! Danny couldn't have planned a better gift! He is the best husband!! =) Thanks so much hun!

So, my birthday will continue through this weekend and then the festivites are over. For a birthday that I was dreading, it turned out AWESOME!

Are you ready for some FOOTBALLLL!?

Well, we had a great time at the football game on Friday night even though East Union lost. Isabella was so excited to wear here new, "Dylan Sweatshirt". As you can see we were all sporting the sweatshirts...
