Easter Sunday...

Now that my kids are getting older I really want to try and make sure that the "true" meaning of Easter isn't overlooked with all the baskets full of goodies, Easter egg hunts, and egg decorating. At the same time I want then to learn about it in a fun way. This year I decided to have an egg hunt with 12 eggs. Inside the eggs were scriptures and an object starting with Judas giving up Christ to his Resurrection. Even though I know that my kids don't understand the scriptures yet, I know that it is an important aspect to bring into their lives. Then when we did their actual Easter egg hunt I left one egg with nothing in it. This was the "special" egg because it represented Christ having been Resurrected. They had fun trying to find the egg that was empty. I also made edible tombs with my kids to help them understand the Easter story. This was one of my favorite Easter's with my kids! =)

I hope that this Easter we all remembered the suffering and sacrifice that Christ did for us. What an amazing man! I am so thankful to have a testimony of him and the things that he has done for us!

(Thanks Angela for the awesome pictures of Christ.)

Isabella...

Here are a few of Isabella's Easter pictures. I love her bright dress on the blossom background. It is perfect!

Isabella is growing up so fast. I can't believe that she is going to be in Kindergarten at the end of July. She can't wait to start "big girl school". She asks everyday if it is time to go to big girl school. She loves everything girlie. She even told me today that she couldn't wear pants to school because it looks like a boy and that she needed a skirt on. I convinced her to wear the pants and that we would put a cute girlie bow in her hair. She loves to play with friends and loves loves loves to color and draw. She is our little artiste.

Chase

Here are a few of Chase's Easter pictures out at the ranch. It was a perfect time with all the beautiful blossoms!

My little man is getting so big. He loves to play outside and especially with balls. He also loves toy cars. He is boy through and through. He is our little jokester. We say all the time that he is going to be the class clown. He makes us laugh all the time. He loves to make people laugh. His new thing is that he dances with his eyes closed. He is our little Stevie Wonder. He love to read books and play Mario. He is at a fun age and we love almost every minute! =)

Easter Blossom Friends...

I took Isabella, Chase, Makayla, and Gavin out to the orchard while the blossoms were out. Here are some cute pictures of them! =)

How amazing...

Ever since I have heard about University Public School I have wanted Isabella to go there. I was very disappointed to find out that her odds were slim to none. They choose by lottery because they have so many students who enroll. Out of about 150 applications they had 28 Kindergarten slots available. Needless to say, when I got a phone call from them on Friday saying that Isabella's name had been picked I was shocked and extremely excited at the same time. This also means that Chase will automatically make it into the school because siblings get into the school automatically! =) I'm so glad I don't have to go through the lotto again.

In Memory...

Well, today marks the year anniversary of my Dad's passing. I had an "In Memory" put in the Bakersfield Californian. You can read it by clicking below:

In Memory of Bob Clemmons

I miss my Dad just as much now if not more a year later. I also feel like he passed away forever ago not just a year ago.

Right this minute...

I'm waiting: for 4 o'clock so that we can meet Les and Vola for dinner at Olive Garden.

I'm listening: Isabella and Chase playing Mario and Danny playing Call of Duty 4. (I wonder where they get it.) =)

I'm loving: all the new ideas I have running in my head for my photography business.

I'm thinking about: having to substitute nursery tomorrow.

I'm hoping: that my neurologist appointment goes well. (March 10th)

I'm procrastinating: cleaning my house!

Our Big Boy

Our big boy now has a big boy bed and he is VERY proud of it. We decided to make it easier for him to get in and out of bed. He has had a few crashes in the night but seems to be getting better. Look how sweet and innocent he looks. Looks can be deceiving. =)
