Birthday Tea Party..

Isabella got invited to her FIRST birthday party. Last Saturday we went to Shea's Tea birthday party. It was cute to see Isabella with all her school friends having tons of fun. Shea is the cute girl in the 2nd picture with Isabella. They are making a necklace. Isabella didn't have tea she had apple juice instead. =)

Disney on Ice

Last Thursday Brenda and I took Makayla and Isabella to Disney on Ice here at the Stockton arena. It was AMAZING! Disney always does such a great job. It was better than I thought. They even had indoor fireworks. Isabella and Makayla loved it! =)

A weekend at Auntie Dee Dee's

Since Isabella had a three day weekend in February we decided to go to Pismo. Danny took an extra 2 days off so we were there from Friday night until Tuesday afternoon. We had a lot of fun and did a lot of different things.

First, we went to the tide pools. I have been wanted to do this since the first time we went there. We always go on high tide and we aren't able to see them. We found an octopus in the tide pools it was awesome. This was my favorite thing that we did. My cousin, Tina and her boyfriend were visiting Pismo for the day and met us out at the tide pools. It was great to see her and meet her very nice boyfriend!

Then we had a bonfire on the beach for Jordan's birthday. It was a lot of fun. I did cut my finger tip about 3/4 of the way off on the beach but thank goodness for Danny, (Dee Dee's husband) who helped stop the bleeding and bandaged it up great! Happy Birthday Jordan!

We went to see the Monarch Butterfly's. There were only about 2,000 left out of about 20,000 butterfly's so we didn't see many but it was still very cool.

Then Dee Dee watched the kids for us so that we could go to dinner at Jocko's. It was SO good. One of the best fillet steaks that I've ever had. It was also the biggest I have ever seen. It could feed at least 3 people. Danny and I shared it and we still have left overs. Thanks Dee Dee!!!

I can't wait to go back and visit soon.

Happy 3rd Birthday Trae

On Valentine's Day we drove to Rocklin for Trae's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. The kids had a great time. It was very exhausting for me to chase the kids around while I was so sick but I managed. It was definitely worth it for the kids.

When Chuck E Cheese came out Isabella was so excited! She ran right up to him. I was looking everywhere for Chase and found him laying on the chairs under the table. He stayed there until her left. He is so silly! =) Needless to say, I don't think he liked Chuck E. very well. LOL

Valentine's Day...

well, the day before Valentine's Day, Isabella had a little party at school. I had to dress her up in her cute outfit I bought last year. I have been waiting a whole year for her to wear it. Finally, she got to wear it. It looked so cute on her. Then we made little gifts for her teacher's (on her left side) and little goody bags for the kids (on her right side). I can't believe that I accomplished this with how sick I was but you do what you gotta do, right? I made 6 teacher gifts and 50 kid goody's. It was a lot of fun!

She's back....

When we were in Don Ave. ward Isabella had an AMAZING nursery leader. Her name is Tanya Richards. We are SO happy that she accepted the call to nursery again since our little man is in there. Now both of our kids are going to have the opportunity to have Sister Richards as their teacher. Here is my big boy after his first day with Sister Richards as his teacher. He made a cute necklace that he beaded himself.

We are so happy to have you teaching our son! We love ya!!! =)

Greg and Steve....

Isabella had a field trip in January to see Greg and Steve so Chase and I decided to go along. They were way fun! Isabella had a chance to go on stage so and I got a picture and a little video of it. She is behind a lot of kids so it is hard to see her but, if you look closely you can see her. She is so shy and didn't really want to go up there but was a trooper! =)

Our 4-day cruise...

Another great part of January was our cruise. It was a well needed vacation for Danny and I to spend some quality time together. To top it off, we got to spend some time with our best buds, Brenda and Jason.

Monday: Boarding the ship

We got on and ate! =) Isn't that what you are supposed to do? =) Then we had the dreaded drill. You always have to have a drill picture for a cruise picture collection. Then we went and climbed "the wall". It was a little higher than I thought and I didn't think that I'd make it but I made it to the bell. What a great feeling to accomplish that. (Obviously my first time.) Then we went and ate again, dinner, and after dinner we went to a show.

Tuesday : San Diego

I was very excited about San Diego because I knew I was going to be able to hang out with my cousin, Jeb. We picked us up and took us first to the San Diego Temple. What a beautiful and peaceful site! Then he took us around La Jolla. It was beautiful and fun! He dropped us off in old town and we ate at this amazing Mexican restaurant that made their own tortilla right in the front of the store. So yummy. We shopped a little bit and then took a taxi back to the ship. We took at "nap" and then had a show and dinner.

Wednesday: Catalina

The weather wasn't the greatest for Catalina. We shopped and walked and then on our way back to the ship it started raining which made for rough seas and Jason and Brenda were sea sick. We had dinner, formal night, and then went to a show.

Thursday: Encinada

We walked around and shopped and got back to the ship and cleaned ourselves. Encinada is SO disgusting! We went back to the ship and ate a late lunch. I was too afraid to eat in Encinada. =) Then we went to dinner for the last time. Danny decided to take the "mullet" with us and he picked tonight to dress up. It was tons of fun! I love Danny's silly side!!! We then went to a show and then to a fun game. (It was fun for Danny and I.) Then we called it a night because we had to pack up.

Friday: Los Angeles

We had our last Breakfast in the dining room an then waited for our color to be called. I was happy to get back to see my kids but sad that our vacation was over. It well worth the $160 per person that our travel agent, Brenda, found! =) Thanks Brenda!!!

What "Misty" means....

Some things are true some are not but I thought it was fun! =)

What Misty Means

You are confident, self assured, and capable. You are not easily intimidated.

You master any and all skills easily. You don't have to work hard for what you want.

You make your life out to be exactly how you want it. And you'll knock down anyone who gets in your way!

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.

You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.

You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong.

You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.

You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.

You are a seeker. You often find yourself restless - and you have a lot of questions about life.

You tend to travel often, to fairly random locations. You're most comfortable when you're far away from home.

You are quite passionate and easily tempted. Your impulses sometimes get you into trouble.

You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in.

You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising.

You may miss out by not settling down, but you're too busy having fun to care.

A failure to a success...

Well, one of my goals was to try and scrapbook twice a month...well, I have scrapbooked one time so far this year that leaves me 3 times behind! Ahhhh, I just really need to set a day and time and just DO IT! Even though I have been kinda bummed about this I had an "Ah ha" moment as Opera would call it. If I try and keep up with my blog this would be like scrapbooking in a different way.

With all the health problems that I have been having lately, mortality has been heavy on my mind. If anything ever happened to me I would want my children to have something from me and I, until today, felt that had to be their scrapbooks. Don't get me wrong I think that their scrapbooks are the best thing I can give them but since I am always behind I feel like they wouldn't have an up-to-date idea of Mom. So, they can have my blog. This is the true me. It's kinda like my diary with pictures. =)

So, even though I've felt like a scrapbook failure I feel like a blog success.

Let's go back...

Wow! I just downloaded all of my pictures that I haven't done in MONTHS and I have so many things to post! =)

Let's start wtih January...

At the very beginning of January we finally went to the Melting Pot with Brenda and Jason for Brenda's birthday. It was SO good! It was a little expensive but so worth every penny.

The first pictures is the cheese fondue. The second picture is the meat fondue and the third picture is the chocolate fondue. You also get a salad in between the cheese and meat fondue. YUMMMM!!!

If you haven't tried the Melting Pot yet you have to!

A little behind...

Well, I haven't been keeping up with my blog lately. It seems that with everything going on it is really hard to keep up on ANYTHING in my life lately. I did make sure to do some cute V-day stuff for Isabella to take to school for the kids and her teachers. Other than that I've been just trying to keep afloat!

I have so much to share so don't be surprised to see a ton of blogs on day! =)

In addition to the cyst they found in my brain I went to the doctor yesterday and he told me that I have pneumonia and/or bronchitis. I'm glad I did go to the doctor because I have been feeling like I've gone way too much and that maybe I just need to suck it up and stop being lazy. But, he assured me that I am exhausted because I have pneumonia. Who would have thought. I know that I push myself but that is the last thing I expected. Well, he put me on some mega antibiotics and I am actually feeling a little better today. FINALLY! It is going to be so nice to feel better. But, I can still hear that darn heartbeat in my ear. One thing at a time! =)

You can even go on their website and sign up and you can keep track of your progression. What an amazing experience! Join the 14, 542 people who have already signed up and make this one of your goals this year.

The Hinckley Challenge

My brain...

Well, I now know that there is something up their! =)

I got the results from my MRI today. I have had many people email me and tell me that they'd like me to let them know the results. I thought the easiest thing would be to post it here.

It isn't good news or bad news. The ENT specialist didn't find anything that he was looking for. I didn't have swelled sinuses, any vascular problems, no birthmarks on the brain, nothing having to do with my ear, nose, or throat.

On the other hand they did find a cyst on the left side of my brain. So, really I still don't know anything and I'm still hearing my heartbeat! It is SO annoying!

Now, I am going back to my family doctor and he is probably going to send me to a neurologist. I'll keep you updated.
