FIRST DAY...

I think Mommy was more nervous for this day than Isabella was. =) Isabella picked the outfit that she wanted to wear. She then told me that she wanted to go by herself. I was so excited that she was so independent but at the same time was very sad that my little girl is growing up.

We got there and she was so excited to see Makayla. They took some pictures together and then Makayla took her by the hand and led her to where she needed to go. What a great friend!

Then she walked right in...took her lunchpail to her cubby and just started playing. I told her bye and gave her a big hug! She loved being a big girl and being able to finally go to school.

And yes, you are reading it right on their sign...Snell's has been operating for over 100 years. This is their 101st year in operation. They must be doing somthing right! =)

Snell's Pre-school Open House...

Snell's Pre-school Family open house was a blast for Isabella and Chase. They had this the Friday before pre-school started for Isabella to meet her teacher, pick her cubby, play, and have fun! That is exactly what she did. As you can see she picked the Minnie Mouse cubby. (They didn't have an princess cubby's) She is SO SO excited to start pre-school. She even told me that she wanted to go by herself next time. What a BIG girl!!!

The Boys Birthday...

This year Heather and I deceided to do Chase and Landen's birthday together since they were born 3 days apart. We had a Construction themed birthday. It was a lot of fun! Our boys are getting so big! They look like toddlers now instead of babies. =(

Pismo Part 4....the fire truck...

This was, by far, the best part of the trip. We just happened to be there for a chance of a lifetime!! Danny was able to pick up a brand new fire truck that they had in Diablo for a class that he was teaching in Arroyo Grande on Tuesday night. So all of us were able to ride around in Arroyo Grande in this brand new fire truck. It was so much fun!!! It is funny how EVERYONE waves to fire trucks.

Then after our ride around we got to play with the fire hose. Isabella even played with it. Then Danny deceided to turn it on full blast. Yes, that is Jordan in all the water spray. He got hit with the fire hose at full blast. He's pretty tough! Then Isabella was able to get Jordan with the hose. She thought it was great.

Thanks so much Danny for such an awesome experience for all of us!!!!!

My new favorite....

The local secret in Oceano has to be Chacho's Mexican Food. You'd think at the beach that my favorite resturant would be a seafood resturant but oh no...it HAS to be Mexican. This was the smallest place I think I've ever eaten but was the best! WE LOVED IT. They have the best homemade tortillas! YUMMMMMMMM! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. So if you are ever in Pismo head on over to Oceano and eat here because it is the BEST! Thanks Danny and Deanna!!! =)

Pismo Part 3....the fire station

On Tuesday we woke up and Uncle Danny took us for a tour of his fire station. The kids had SO SO much fun. Even the bigger kids had fun sliding down the fireman pole. Uncle Danny slid down the pole for the first time with us. Ahhh, how special we are!

Pismo Part 2...kiaking

Then on Monday we went on our traditional kiaking trip. This is always the best part about our trips to Pismo but in Part 3 and 4 you'll see why it wasn't this time. We kiaked to a beach and hung out for a while. We had so much fun!!

Pismo Part 1...the beach...

We went to Pismo Labor Day weekend after the baptism...we got there REALLY late on Saturday night. Sunday we woke up and went to the beach. Chase and Isabella deceided to go swimming in their clothes. Isabella hated having wet clothes on and took them off. She was running around the beach and swimming in the ocean in her underware. She is Daddy's girl!

When we made plans to go to Pismo we were SO excited to get away from the heat. Little did we know that we'd be bringing the heat with us. It was 99 degrees on Sunday. Untie DD doesn't have air conditioning because it NEVER gets that hot at the beach so we were SO SO hot. So later on Sunday evening we deceided to make another trip to the beach for a family Sunday walk. Uncle Danny, Antie DD, Jordan, Keanu, Vola, and Uncle Danny's daughter all went with us. It was so fun. We realized how great of a football player Jordan is! =) It felt so good down on the beach. It was a even a little chilly. =) Chase got really cold so Danny had to put his shirt on him.

Uncle Danny, Antie DD, Jordan, Keanu, Vola, and Uncle Danny's daughter all went with us. It was so fun. We realized how great of a football player Jordan is! =)

Go Diego Go..

I am a little behind on my blogging but we went to Fresno and saw Go Diego Go Live on August 29th with Serenity, Landen and Hannah. We had a ton of fun. Even Chase LOVED Diego. He still talks about it today! Isabella's favorite characters were Baby Jaguar and Alicia. Thanks Auntie Heather for inviting us!!

KK's Baptism...

Well, my niece is already 8 which is so hard to believe. She got baptised on September 1st. I was asked to give the talk on Baptism. For my talk I made a Baptism Bag with little gifts for KK to remember her baptism. I wish I had a picture of it but I forgot to take it!

My talk:

Congratulations on your baptism day! This Baptism bag will help remind you that being baptized is one of the most important things you can do in your life. Since this is such a special day for you I want you to have a few reminders of this day. So I am going to give you a baptism bag with lots of reminders. I know how hard it is to live life on your own. I hope this will help you along your way with these gifts.

1st a WHITE BAG to remind you of how PURE and CLEAN you will be after you enter the waters of baptism. Let it remind you that dirt can stain the bag just as sin can stain your soul. Always remember that repentance can keep you pure and clean and should always be your goal.

2nd a PICTURE OF JESUS AND JOHN the BAPTIST will remind you that Jesus was baptized when He lived on earth because He wanted to obey Heavenly Father's commandments and set an example for each of us to follow. He knew that everyone must be baptized to be able to live in the Celestial kingdom.

3rd a WASHCLOTH is to remind you that you will be washed free of all your sins.

4th is a BOTTLE OF WATER, it will remind you that you were baptized by IMMERSION, just like Jesus was.

5th a SACRAMENT CUP is to remind you that when we are baptized we make a promise to Heavenly Father and He in turn makes a promise to us. This is called a covenant. When you partake of the Sacrament you will be renewing your baptismal covenant. The chart will help you remember what these promises are.

6th a HEART stands for the great love our Heavenly Father has for you and His desire that you return to live with Him. It also stands for the love you show Him by obeying His commandments and sharing your testimony.

7th is a TEDDY BEAR to remind you to bear one another’s burdens, that means to help others in time of need, to be there when someone is crying or having a bad day. It is also to remind you to bear your testimony. When you bear your testimony you share a great gift for others and your sins will be forgiven of you.

8th a SMALL GIFT BOX to remind you that after you are baptized you will receive one of God’s greatest gifts, the Gift of the Hoy Ghost.

9th A CANDLE reminds you that as you gain a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and live worthy so Heavenly Father's spirit can be with you, you will feel the peace and joy the gospel brings and have the light of the Holy Ghost. Let the candle represent this light which will lead you back to the presence of your Heavenly Father.

10th is a lifesaver because your baptism is a celestial lifesaver!

Kaitlyn I love you and am happy to share this day with you. Always stay close to Jesus and Heavenly Father and you will truly be happy.

Love,
Aunt Misty

Then as her gift I had her name sewen with fabric on a white towel. Sally Pendleton in our ward did this for me and she did an AMAZING JOB!! It couldn't have turned out better! I also made her a little sacrament scrapbook....everything turned out great! I am so glad that I was able to share this special day with my niece, KK. =)

Riding with Daddy...

At the end of August when we were out on the boat the kidos went riding with Daddy again. Isabella loves it. Chase isn't too sure yet but had a ton of fun! =)
